Mary Dean Holland of Hartford passed away Monday, February 25, 2013 in Flowers Hospital. She was 90 years old.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, February 28, 2013 at Hartford Baptist Church with Rev. Chris Kroll and Rev. Bruce Spivey officiating. Burial will follow in Hartford City Cemetery with Jimmy Bottoms of Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home of Hartford directing. The family will receive friends from 6 PM to 8PM Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home in Hartford.
The family request no flowers be sent. Donations may be made to Hartford Baptist Church
Mary was born April 29, 1922 to Charlie and Pearl Spivey Dean of Hartford.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Ralph Hornsby in 1941, Houston Blount in 1976, and L. C. Holland in 1994. Also preceding her was her parents, her sister, Eunice Adkison, and her brothers, Horace Dean, Ray Dean, Robert Dean, and Royce Dean.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Mary Waldo and Pierre Jouin, two grandsons, Marc Jouin and Paul Jouin, all of Mesa, AZ. Also surviving are her brothers, Calvin Dean of Dothan, and Lawrence Dean and his wife Carolyn of Hartford. Several nieces and nephews and other relatives
