Merle White Parrish

Mrs. Merle White Parrish of Enterprise passed away quietly on Saturday, February 23, 2013 in Enterprise. She was 77.
Funeral services will be 11:00am on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 from the Sorrells Funeral Home chapel in Enterprise with Rev. Jim Duhaime and Rev. Matt Smith officiating. A private interment will follow later in the afternoon at Meadowlawn cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday beginning at 10:00am and continuing until service time.
Mrs. Parrish was born March 9, 1935 in Geneva County to the late Oscar and Jessie Marsh White. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Enterprise and attended her cherished Lydia Sunday School class. She was also a member of the Quest Study Club. She was a loving and gracious wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Her beloved husband, Wilmer Parrish, a sister, Ohree Parrish and brothers, Talmadge and Waylon White all preceded her in death.
The family asked that in lieu of flowers, memorial be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 1314 Westgate Pky, Suite # 2, Dothan, AL, 36302.
Survivors include her son, Rodney Parrish, Panama City Beach, FL, her daughter, Ronda Pariseau (Paul), Enterprise, AL, granddaughters: Catherine and Elizabeth both of Enterprise, AL, sister: Kate Byrd, Enterprise, AL, brother: Ronald Earl White, Pensacola, FL along with a host of loved nieces and nephews.
The family would like to say a special Thank You to Taylor Bradford for his many years of visits, care and support. Also a thank you is extended to the Enterprise Health and Rehab as well as the Medical Center Enterprise.
