Mary Magdalene Welch Harrison

Mrs. Mary Magdalene Welch Harrison, age 61, a resident of Grangerburg, died Friday, February 22, 2013 at her residence following an extended illness.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, February 24, 2013 at the Glover Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Eddie Littlefield officiating and Kendall Glover directing.
The family will be receiving friends at Glover Funeral Home Saturday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Flowers will be accepted.
Mrs. Harrison was born on August 6, 1951 in Ozark the daughter of Willie Earl Welch and Lallie D. Mathis Welch. She worked at Cottonwood IGA as a cashier for 7 years and attended Harpers Joy Assembly of God Church. Mrs. Harrison's hobby was shopping on HSN and JTV.
She was preceded in death by her parents, infant daughter, Mary Celeste Martin and infant grandson, Cooper Porter Barnes.
Survivors include: husband of 27 years, Earl Harrison, Grangerburg; daughters, Mary Marie Prescott, Troy; Christy Michelle Stack, Elba; Mary Alexandria Harrison, Grangerburg; Lora Lyn Bentley(Wayne), Jack; sons, Joseph Michael Mesko, Shreveport, LA; James Porter Martin, Atlanta, GA; sisters, Eileen Miller (Jimmy), Hartford; Carol Draughn (Steve), Jacksonville, FL; Brenda Kent (Gerald), Midland City; Vivian Bond (Dennis), Dothan; Nell Baker (Bill), Enterprise; Janet Singletary (Larry), Dothan; brother Dan Welch (Judy), Wicksburg; and 13 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be: Jeffery Welch, Terry Johnson, Scott Kimbrel, David Yeomans, Raymond Earl Bentley, John David Powers, Trent Johnson, and Chase Powers.
