Mr. CL McMoy of Dothan passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2013, at his residence. He was 85.
Graveside services will be held at 11:30 A.M. Friday, February 22, 2013, at Memory Hill Cemetery with Reverend Mike Pierson officiating and Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:30 to 11:15 A.M. Friday, February 22, 2013. In lieu of flowers, the family request that contributions be made to the Houston County Library in memory of Mr. McMoy.
Mr. McMoy was a member of Greystone United Methodist Church. He worked with the Postal Service as a rural mail carrier for 44 years. He and his wife, Evelyn were married for 65 years. He coached little league baseball for Dothan Leisure Services and was an avid golfer and Alabama fan. "ROLL TIDE"
He is preceded in death by his parents, CL and Betie Harwell McMoy, Sr., and two sisters, Pat and Evelyn.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn McMoy of Dothan; son, Mike McMoy and his wife, Linda of Dothan; sisters, Georgia Griffin, Mary Clower, grandchildren, Shelly Bostic (Aaron), Mandy Skogebo (Scott), two great-grandchildren, Jonathan and Sydney, and many close friends.
