Louis Nevon Dyer

Mr. Louis Nevon Dyer of Dothan passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2013, at the Southeast Alabama Medical Center. He was 77.
Funeral services will be held at 12 P.M. Friday, February 15, 2013, at Ward Wilson Funeral Home with Dr. Danny Wiggins officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.
The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 11:30 to 12 P.M. Friday, February 15, 2013. In lieu of flowers, the family request that contributions be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, P.O. Box 1818, Memphis, TN 38101.
Mr. Dyer loved to play golf and cook for family and friends. He loved his family dearly.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Horrace D. Dyer and Claudia Emma McDowell Dyer, and all of his siblings.
Survivors include his wife, Carol Dyer, of Dothan; daughter, Angela Dyer McVeay and her husband, Olly McVeay of St. Simons Island, GA; son, Louis Dyer, Jr. and his wife, Tina Thompson Dyer of Brunswick, GA; grandchildren, Claudia McVeay, Hogan Dyer, Madison McVeay, and Macall Dyer; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will be having a celebration of life immediately following the service at Hunt's Seafood Restaurant. Everyone is invited to join the family there.
