Dr. Phil's episode featuring little Ethan's story, "The Boy in the Bunker" was watched by many of you Wednesday afternoon.  Some said the story was touching, but at Ethan's half brother Camren Kirkland disagrees. Kirkland said he isn't happy with the way things panned out with the top rated television talk show host "It's just things the things that have transpired with the Dr. Phil I haven't truly disagreed with. I honestly feel like he did my family wrong," said Kirkland.

Dr. Phil became interested in the case when Ethan was held in that underground bunker for seven days. His people were  in Dale County right after the standoff ended last week, but for Kirkland it wasn't about the standoff or Dr. Phil's interest. Instead, Kirkland said it was all about the nationally syndicated show promising one thing, but delivering another. "I was asked how I can help the family move forward that was the line I was given and some of that never worked out. Originally I was told it would be the entire family and things sort of changed," continued Kirkland.

The changes happened Friday, the day when the episode was recorded here in Alabama. It was about the time Camren appeared on ABC's Good Morning America, World News Tonight, and 20/20." I heard that with me doing the Good Morning America interview the Dr. Phil show wouldn't be exclusive anymore and that I couldn't go on air with Dr. Phil. I wanted to be supportive and outspoken on the ordeal that happened to my brother, but I couldn't," explained Kirkland.

Kirkland said the whole story wasn't told and things needed to be brought out that weren't. While disappointed, Cameron admits some good came out this interview. The Dr. Phil show will pay Ethan's healthcare for life and set up a conservatorship that could see hundreds of thousands of dollars in it. He said, "The only thing that really matters is my little brother and that outweighs everything."
