There's lots of speculation over whether or not Bama Jam 2013 will happen.
According to sources from Bama Jam Productions, the dates have been set, but no formal announcements have been released.
Bama Jam Productions based out of Nashville, Tennessee is in charge of the three day festival.
In December the company released news that it would be producing a "Bama Jam like" event in Panama City, prompting some to wonder if the company had replaced Bama Jam with this event, "called Gulf Coast Jam."
Sources from Bama Jam Productions say that's not the case, and Bama Jam 2013 has been scheduled for June 14,15,and 16.
They also say producer Rendy Lovelady is still in charge and the event will move forward with its announcements as soon as it finishes a land agreement.
This comes as good news for many people throughout the Wiregrass, as several have voiced concerns of the festival not coming back on the event's Facebook page and to the Enterprise Chamber of Commerce.
"People ask all the time," said said Ben Stanfield, the tourism director for the chamber of commerce. "That's what they want to know about. Who is coming to Bama Jam this year? I say I don't know, that's the mystique about it. Putting heads in beds, that is what we would like to see in Enterprise. It's really good for the entire community."
According to Bama Jam Productions, the festival will be coming back to Enterprise and with its nearly 25,000 attendees and their tourism dollars.
Bama Jam Productions said to check with the event's Facebook page for further updates.
