Harry Yohn of Kinston, Alabama passed away Friday evening, February 8, 2013, at the family residence after a brief illness. He was 68.
Funeral services will be 2:00PM Monday, February 11, 2013, from the Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel in Enterprise with Rev. Sam Totten officiating. Burial will follow in the Meadowlawn cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Enterprise on Sunday from 2:00 until 4:00PM. At all other times, the family will be at the family residence on Hwy 52 in Kinston (Lowery Community).
Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Samson, 8 W. Main St, Samson, AL 36477 or Day Spring Hospice 201 W. Lee St, Enterprise, AL 36330.
Mr. Yohn was born February 3, 1945, in Coffee County, to the late Mason and Madie Yohn. He was retired from the U.S. Army Reserve, as well as from Civil Service.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Sue Yohn, Kinston, AL, sons: Chad Yohn (Lee), Enterprise, AL, Dr. Jason Yohn (Kathy) Smiths Station, AL, Michael Kilcrease (Bonnie), Headland, AL, daughter: Tammy Matthews (Scott), Ashford, AL, sister: Bertha Jordan, Geneva, AL, 11 grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many special friends.
