Sharon Lavonne Jones Barry

Ms. Sharon Lavonne Jones Barry, age 67, a resident of Dothan (formerly of Eufaula) passed away Thursday, January 31, 2013 at her residence following a brief illness.
Memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m. (CST) Sunday, February 3, 2013 in the Glover Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Robert E. McDaniel officiating and Kendall Glover of Glover Funeral Home directing.
The family will be receiving friends on Sunday from 1:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. prior to memorial service at Glover Funeral Home Chapel. The family request that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society of Houston County, 2346 West Main Street, Suite 3, Dothan, Alabama 36301.
Ms. Barry was born on September 7, 1945 in San Bernardino, CA the daughter of James Frank Jones and Blanche Ward Jones. She moved to Dothan in 2008 from Eufaula. Ms. Barry has worked the past 3 1/2 years as a Fiscal Clerk with the Southeast Alabama Regional Planning & Development Commission.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include: daughter and son-in-law, Lisa Barry Fuller (Andy), Dothan, AL; a son, Robert Michael Barry, Jr., Albany, GA; brother, Nicholas Frank Jones, Dothan, AL; 3 grandchildren, Maegan Fuller Killingsworth (Brad); Ross Andrew Fuller and Robert Henry Fuller; great granddaughter, Mackenzie Raegan Killingsworth, all of Dothan.
The family would like to say a special thank you to Drs. Sai Avula, Scott McAllister, Srinivasa Chennareddy, Rita Fairclough and all of the nurses and staff on 3 East at Southeast Alabama Medical Center.
