Mrs. Rita Butler Slicer of Dothan passed away Sunday, January 20, 2013, at her residence. She was 70.
Memorial services will be held at 11:30 A.M. Tuesday, January 22, 2013, at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. Flowers will be accepted.
Rita was a loving wife to David Slicer of Headland; and mother of Jan, Kim, Robin, Suzanne, Paul, and step-children, Darryl, Wendy, and Kevin. She was a grandmother of fifteen, great-grandmother of four. Rita enjoyed gardening, crafting, sewing, and spending time with her friends and family, especially her special friend, Diane Odom.
She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Barbara Butler.
