Wallace Baseball Signs Three

Wallace head baseball coach Mackey Sasser signed three local players today, two from Florida and one from the Wiregrass.

Mosley high school standouts Austin Bizzle and Jordan Larry and Headland's Justin Byrd put pen to the paper and inked their letters of intent to the Governors.

Bizzle, a 6'1'' 185 lb. right handed pitcher went 7-1 in 53 1/3 innings, recorded a 1.30 ERA and 62 strikeouts last season.

Larry, a 5'11'' 148 lb. centerfielder, had a .421 batting average with nine doubles and five triples in his final year with the Dolphins.

Byrd, who is known for his speed says he has stolen 20 or more bases every year since he was in eighth grade.
