Ruth Killingsworth

Miss Ruth Killingsworth of Slocomb passed away Sunday, January 6, 2013 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center of Dothan. She was 63.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 9 2013, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Scott Byrd officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m.
Miss Killingsworth was born on August 24, 1949 to Grace Peacock Killingsworth and the late William Ernest Killingsworth. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include her mother, Grace Peacock Killingsworth of Slocomb; two brothers: Gerald (Judean) and Donald (Sue) Killingsworth both of Slocomb; several nieces and nephews.
