Mr. Harry Sexton of Dothan passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at his residence. He was 75.
Funeral services will be held at 3 P.M. Saturday, January 5, 2013, at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Aaron Dickinson officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Hill Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 to 7 P.M. Friday, January 4, 2013.
Mr. Sexton was born August 16, 1937, in Rome, GA; to the late Huey and Ruth Sexton. Mr. Sexton retired from Sears Service after 39 years. He was a referee of football, basketball, baseball, and softball for many years. He was a member of Cloverdale Baptist Church.
He is also preceded in death by brother, John Sexton.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Martha Sexton, one daughter, Suzanne Ray (William) of Dothan; two sons, Ken Sexton (Judy) of Pensacola, FL; Steve Sexton (Patsy) of Dothan; one sister, Patsy Leo of Phoenix, AZ; four grandchildren, Adam Ray (Tara) of Dothan; Amy Amaro (Justin) of Cairo, GA; Melissa Sexton of Pensacola, FL; Maddie Sexton of Dothan; two great-grandchildren, Weston Ray of Dothan; and Davis Amaro of Cairo, GA.
