Mr. Bobby Grayson Crews of Geneva, Alabama passed away Sunday, December 30, 2012. He was 76.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 2, 2013, in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Geneva with Rev. Sam Williams officiating and Rev. Dickey McAllister delivering the eulogy with Sorrells Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday beginning at 10:00 a.m. and continue until service time.

Mr. Crews was born July 17, 1936, in Geneva County, Alabama to the late Ervin Bethel and Mattie Pearl Harper Crews. He was a graduate of Troy State University. After 22 years of service he retired from the U.S. Air Force as a management engineer. He continued his engineer career working at the Pensacola Naval Air Station for 14 years. He enjoyed fishing and was a member of Westside United Methodist Church.
In addition to his parents his brother Harold Crews preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Janice Howell Crews, Geneva; one daughter, Deborah Crews Jones (Derek), Winston Salem, NC; three sons: William E. "Bill" Crews and fianc Lorri, Jamie G. Crews (Rachell) and Jonathan K. "Kenny" Crews (Luxandra), all of Geneva; five grandchildren: Allen Jones (Kim), Janice Jones Knotts and Christine de Bogdan, all of Winston Salem, NC, Thomas Crews, Mobile, AL and Billy Crews, Ft. Walton Beach, FL; six great-grandchildren: Cody, Jayden, Cameron, Chloe, Cameron and Tristen; one sister, Judy Cook (Clyde); two brothers: Erskine Crews (Margurite) and Dwight Crews, Sr. (Joyce), all of Geneva; several special nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends.
