Man Wanted For Questioning In FL Murder May Be In Wiregrass

Police in Lake Wales, Florida think a man wanted for questioning in a recent murder may be headed to the Wiregrass.

Larry Joe Futrill, a 67 year old resident of Lake Wales, has an arrest warrant out for 3 counts of sexual battery of a juvenile.

Futrill is also believed to be involved in the homicide of William Macauley on December 19th and is wanted for questioning.

Futrill is described as being a white male, 5'10", thin, and light complexion with white hair. It is also believed that he has cut his hair and may appear different.

Police say he may be headed to Elba or Troy but did not specify what connection the suspect has to those communities.

According to police, Futrill is armed and dangerous. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call law enforcement immediately.
