Glenn Ray "George" Bookamer

Glenn Ray "George" Bookamer of Enterprise, AL, formerly of Ellwood City, PA, passed away peacefully in Enterprise on Thursday, December 7, 2012, following a brief battle with stomach cancer.

            A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm Thursday, December 20, 2012 at Open Door Baptist Church with Rev. John McCrummen officiating.  Sorrells Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  Glenn has chosen to help others by donating his remains to the study of cancer research.  Contributions may be made in Glenn's name to the American Cancer Society.

            He is survived by his mother, Louelle Bookamer of Ellwood City; a daughter, Natasha Mesko, Ashford, KY; a sister, Tracey Briner, Ellwood City; a niece and great-niece, also of Ellwood City and several aunts and uncles in the surrounding areas.  Glenn is also survived by his girlfriend of many years, Theresa Chandler, Enterprise, AL, and several very close friends whom surrounded his bedside, Doc and Rhonda Smith, Michael Baldwin and Curtis, all of Enterprise.
