Albert Douglas Reeves, III

Albert Douglas Reeves, III, a resident of Wicksburg, died Thursday, November 29, 2012 at Flowers Hospital following an extended illness. He was 69.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 15, 2012 at First Baptist Church of Dothan with Rev. Bob Gross officiating. The family will receive friends at the church following the services on Saturday.

 In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Wicksburg Assembly of God Church or the First Baptist Church of Dothan.

Mr. Reeves was born in June 7, 1943 in Elba and lived the early years of his life there. He has been a resident of Daleville for the past two years. He was a truck driver most all of working career and  loved his family and Alabama football.

Mr. Reeves is predeceased by his father, Albert D. Reeves, Jr.

Survivors include his mother, Beatrice Reeves of Wicksburg; two children, Terri Doughtie and  Steve Reeves and his wife, Kathy, all of Wicksburg; four grandchildren, Brian Lee Doughtie, Brad Rodney Doughtie (Rebecca), Brandon Doughtie and Jesse Reeves; five great-grandchildren also survive.
