Bobby Petrino will be back on the college football sidelines next season.

After being fired in April, for having an affair with an employee, the former Arkansas coach is taking over at Western Kentucky.

He replaces Willie Taggart, who left WKU this past weekend to fill South Florida's head coaching vacancy.

Petrino takes over a Hilltoppers' team that went 7-5 in 2012 and is playing Central Michigan in the LIttle Caesar's Bowl.
