Opp Man Dies In Coffee County Wreck

An Opp man died Wednesday when two pickup trucks collided in Coffee County.  Jerry Carr, 64, died in the accident which occurred at the intersection of U.S. 84 and County Road 515 near New Brockton. 

Carr was a passenger in a small pickup truck driven by Douglas Lawson, 65, of Elba.  Lawson was taken to a Dothan hospital for treatment.

The driver of the other truck, Carl Ray Drummond of Enterprise, was not injured in the crash which remains under investigation by Alabama State Troopers.
