Each year the Salvation Army hosts angel trees to help others in the community, but this year--they've run into a crisis.

They are just two weeks out from their distribution date and still have more than 400 kids in need of help.

Maj. Cheryl Phillips said that "the need is greater, as we have 200 more families this year than last year."

The Salvation Army will distribute the toys on December 21, so there is still plenty of time to fill the large need in the Wiregrass.

If you want to help--there are several angel trees around Dothan, including some at the Wiregrass Commons Mall and Chill Yogurt.

For a list of where to go to donate toys, contact the Salvation Army at 792-1911.
