Mrs. Ernestine Searcy Andrews of Slocomb passed away
Monday, December 3, 2012 at Flowers Hospital.
She was 91.
Funeral services will be
held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 4, at First Baptist Church of Slocomb
with Rev. Dan Raley officiating.
Graveside services will follow at 3:15 p.m. in Memory Hill Cemetery with
Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing.
In lieu of flowers, the family requested that donations be made to your
favorite charity.
The family will receive
friends at the church on Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until service
time.
Mrs. Andrews was born on November 9, 1921 in Houston
County, AL to the late Wesley and Dee Collins
Searcy.
Survivors include her husband of 71 years: Willie Andrews of Slocomb; one daughter: Gayle Yarbrough of Dothan; one son: David (Sheila) Andrews of Fadette; four half
brothers and sisters: Meylan (Lucille)
Searcy, Sam (Joan) Searcy, Enice (Vince) Magrino, Starlar (Keith) Richart; four
grandchildren: Wanda (Brett) Peebles of
Midland City, Stacie (Kip) Snell of Slocomb, Lindsey (Jeremy) Lee of Dothan,
Brett Andrews of Taylor; three great grandchildren: Kristin (Brandon) Martin of Rehobeth, Kyle
Snell of Columbia, Kaleb Snell of Slocomb; one greatly anticipated bundle of joy
from China: Ella Blair Lee; three great
great grandchildren: Anthony, Aiyana,
Marleigh Martin of Rehobeth; several nieces and
nephews.
