Ruth W. Smith Simpler, a resident of Dothan, died Friday, November 30, 2012. She was 92.
Funeral services will be held at 11 A. M. Monday, December 3, 2012 from the Chapel of Ward Wilson Funeral Home with Reverend Tim Willis officiating. Burial will follow in Hartford City Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home Directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home chapel from 10 until 11 A. M. one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Simpler was preceded in death by her husbands, Emmitt Howell Smith and Aubrey Simpler; her parents, Quay and Pearl Watkins; Brothers; Talmadge, Hancel, Leonard, Robert and Foster Watkins.
Survivors include her Daughter; Linda Shelley of Dothan; Son; Philip Smith and wife Doris of Dothan; Three grandchildren; Anna Shelley, Kim Roland and Paula Church. Three sisters; Hazel Hardy, Nellie Burnet and Marie Keffer. Four Great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews
