A former Dothan attorney and her husband were arrested Wednesday on separate charges.  Debroah Seagle Jordon was booked into jail, accused of Theft First Degree.  Her husband, Irby Franklin Jordon, was charged with Harassment related to his behavior when Mrs. Jordan was taken into custody at the couple's Cottonwood area home.

Dothan police say Jordan funneled money from an estate check to his personal account.  The amount is believed to be about $25,000. Her law license has previous been suspended indefinitely.

Additionally, Irby Jordon was arrested in November, 2011 for Making Terrorist Threats.  The case involved threats allegedly made to police during the execution of a search warrant at his wife's office.  Court records indicate Jordan became involved in a shoving match with officers with one suffering a broken foot as a result.  Jordan pleaded guilty in October to a reduced charge of Menacing and was ordered to serve two years probation.
