Mrs. Mable B. Dixon of Dothan passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2012. She was 98.
Graveside services will be held at 10 A.M. Thursday, November 29, 2012, at Rehobeth Cemetery with Reverend Chuck Locke officiating and Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 P.M. Wednesday, November 28, 2012. In lieu of flowers, the family request that contributions be made to your favorite charity.
Mrs. Dixon was a member of Rehobeth Baptist Church and worked for 28 years in the lunchroom at Rehobeth High School. She loved her family and loved to cook for them. Her great-grandchildren were a delight for her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ed Branton and Nellie Cook Branton, husband, Marvin Dixon, and two sisters, Valley Pippin and Addie Harrell.
Survivors include her son, Terry Dixon and his wife, Judy of Dothan; granddaughter, Breanna and her husband, Brian North, great-grandchildren, Riley North, Emma North, and several nieces and nephews.
