Shala Tate Parker

Mrs. Shala Tate Parker of Ponce de Leon, FL passed away on Tuesday, November 20, 2012.  She was 40.  A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 24, 2012 in the chapel of Pittman Funeral Home in Geneva with Rev. Ike Isaacs officiating. 

 Mrs. Parker was born in Geneva County, AL on June 23, 1972 to Edward Tate and Deborah Smith Tate.  She and her husband owned and operated Parker Logging for many years.  She was preceded in death by her father; and her husband, Fred David Parker.

 She is survived by her son, Wilfred Tyler Smith of Samson; daughter, Maycee Holmes of Westville, FL; mother, Deborah Smith Tate of Westville; sister, Barbra Tate of DeFuniak Springs, FL; and brother, Shawn Tate.
