Man Using Fake Name Accused Of Sexually Abusing Children

By: Staff Reports
Updated: November 20, 2012

A convicted sex offender investigators say was living in Jackson County, Florida under a false name has been arrested and charged with the sexual abuse of two children.  Charlie Senior, Jr. according to investigators, is a registered sex offender in Georgia who moved to Jackson County earlier this year, avoiding court-ordered supervision.

"Investigators were able to determine that Senior was living under the assumed identity of Moutayvayon Dawis Drake and that Senior had obtained a driver's license from the State of Alabama that enabled him to perpetuate this identity," according to a press release from the office of Jackson County Sheriff Lou Roberts III.

Senior was arrested in June in relation to warrants issued in Georgia and failing to register as a sex offender after he moved to Florida.  Robert's office said investigators later determined there is probable cause to believe Senior committed crimes on the children, ages 9 and 12.  Those acts are believed to have occurred in June.  Specifically, he is charged with one count of Sexual Battery on a child and one count of Lewd and Lascivious Molestation on a child under the age of twelve.

Senior, according to the sheriff, had secured an Alabama driver's license which helped him perpetuate his fake identity. He is described as the boyfriend of the victim's mother.
