Beautiful Blankets from Ecuador for Missions to Help Love In Action

By: Blake Deshazo
Updated: November 19, 2012
Want a beautiful, soft and colorful blanket, and at the same time help Love In Action (LIA) with local and foreign missions work? These incredibly soft blankets were made by five families who operate a small business in a poor town in Ecuador. Ted and Karen Hils, who lead the King's Talents Division of Love In Action, http://www.loveinactionministries.com/, traveled to Ecuador to order these blankets. King's Talents raises money for Love In Action's many worthwhile projects such as:

La Casa de Fe (the House of Faith), an orphanage serving abandoned, neglected and special needs children in Shell, Ecuador.

Spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ through acts of compassion and making disciples of the homeless and poor people in Dothan, Ala., and other areas of the U.S.

Spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ among the previously unreached peoples of the Philippines and Myanmar.

100% of the profits go to Love In Action. In addition to raising funds for LIA, we also want help the people in the Third World countries where Love In Action ministers.

These unique blankets are $45 each. They make great Christmas gifts, and churches can also get involved in fundraising projects with the blankets. For more information about the blankets and fundraising opportunities, call Ted and Karen Hils at 334-983-1092 or email them at ted@tedstrucks.com and karenhils@centurylink.net

Please note: If any business that has a lot of walk-in traffic would allow us to set up a small stack of blankets in their lobby that they would be willing to sell, that would be greatly appreciated. We are willing to bring a bus, or the LIA trailer load of blankets, to any church, business, shopping center parking lot, etc. that has a large enough group of potential buyers to make it worthwhile. Call Ted and Karen Hils at the above contact info.
