Jeff Driskel Ready to Play Against Florida State

Updated: November 19, 2012
Jacoby Brissett lead the Gators to a 23-0 victory over Jacksonville State this weekend. Brissett was named the Florida starting quarterback after Jeff Driskel went down with an ankle sprain against Louisiana-Lafayette last weekend.

Gators' head coach Wil Muschamp said that Jeff Driskel has been cleared to play on Saturday, when they take on the Florida State Seminoles. While the quarterback is cleared to play, it remains unknown how much playing time he will get on Saturday.

Offensive coordinator Brent Pease will find a way to get Driskel involved in the game.

While Brissett did not have impressive numbers against Jacksonville State, he did not turn the ball over, and he kept the Gators in position to win the game.

Florida goes into Saturday's game against Florida State the fourth ranked team in the nation.
