Jake's Bar and Grill Holiday Party to Benefit Wiregrass Toys for Tots

By: Stephen Crews
Updated: November 19, 2012
With the number of families in need on the rise in the Wiregrass Area, Clarion Inn and Jake's Bar and Grill are partnering with the Wiregrass Marine Corps League Toys for Tots program to create a fun and festive Holiday party to help collect toys to provide children with a memorable holiday that they may otherwise not have.

We also are providing an affordable way for all employees and patrons alike to come together and spread some holiday cheer this year. So, grab a toy and throw on a tacky sweater for a good cause and come enjoy some live music, food, and drinks at Jake's Bar and Grill.

This event will be held on December 15, 2012 from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. at Jake's Bar and Grill located inside the Clarion Inn at 2195 Ross Clark Circle in Dothan. Admission is $5 plus a new toy donation for the Toys for Tots program. Live Music with "Fire at Will." Appetizers, Drink Specials, Door Prizes, and Party Favors. Guest Rooms Discounted to $61/night for those who attend and don't want to drive.

The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during the year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to children who may not have had the opportunity of receiving gifts.  The primary goal is to deliver, through a shiny new toy at Christmas, a message of hope to these children and to motivate them to grow into responsible, productive, patriotic citizens and community leaders.
