Several law enforcement agencies gathered in Geneva Friday to discuss hot topics in crime.

The fourth annual Wiregrass Law Enforcement Seminar was held by District Attorneys Kirke Adams and Doug Valeska.

While there, police got the latest information on Alabama laws, Amber Alerts, and new drugs showing up on the streets like spice or bath salts.

The seminar is also a money saver for police departments, because it's free.

"Money is tight in small departments, so this is a great opportunity to bring local officers together to help them network," said Kirke Adams, the Dale and Geneva County District Attorney. "When the time comes, teamwork is much better in this area."

More than 300 police officers attended the seminar.
