We're one week from Thanksgiving and the Dothan Rescue Mission is preparing for its Thanksgiving Dinner.

For years the rescue mission has served thanksgiving dinner for those in need. This year, the mission is planning on feeding at least 75 people.

They have meat for the meal --but they don't have all of the fixings. Executive Director Brad Hardy said, this year they have to dig into their pockets to pay for those side dishes.

"" There have been times in the past where our volunteers who wanted to serve brought a lot of food with them and in times past we didn't have to worry about the food. This year we have a lot of volunteers but not a lot of food being brought in, "explained Hardy.

If you would like to donate food you can drop it off at the mission located on East Crawford Street.

Dinner will be served at 4:00PM Thanksgiving Day.
