Denise Anderson and Kasey Cooper have been teammates since they were both nine years old. They played travel, city league and high school softball right in front of the other, one being on the mound and the other behind the plate. So it's only fitting the two sign their national letters of intent to play Division I athletics on the same day.

Anderson put pen to paper and inked her deal to Florida A&M University to become a Rattler and Cooper fulfilled her childhood dream of becoming an Auburn Tiger.

In 2012, the Dothan dymanic duo were two of the biggest contributors in the Tigers' lineup. The catcher hit .382 with eight home runs and 35 r.b.i and the pitcher not only hit .599 but also had an e.r.a below one (0.99) and struck out over 300 batters (344).
