Columbia Highway Hobo Pantry Robbery

On November 11, 2012 the Dothan Police Department responded to an armed robbery at the Hobo Pantry located at 4380 Columbia Highway. Upon arrival, police learned two suspects entered the store, one of which was armed with a handgun, and assaulted the cashier on duty. Following the assault, the cashier complied with the suspects' demands and provided the cash in the register after which both suspects then fled on foot. Police say the cashier suffered from a laceration and swelling as a result of the attack.

The first suspect was described as a black male dressed in a green hooded sweatshirt. The second suspect was described as a black male, approximately 5'10 tall weighing 180 pounds dressed in a gray hooded sweatshirt. Police are asking anyone with information about the case or identity of the suspect to call the Dothan Police Department or CrimeStoppers 334-793-7000.
