Cupadean Lindsay Aycock

Mrs. Cupadean Lindsay Aycock of P. Mock Road, Coffee Springs, Alabama passed away Monday, November 12, 2012.  She was 82. 

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 14, in the Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Wheeler Wilson officiating and Sorrells Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 1:00 p.m. and continue until service time.

The family asked in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to Gentiva Hospice.

Mrs. Aycock was born May 6, 1930, in Dale County, Alabama to the late Aaron Denzil and Elnora Beatrice Miller Lindsay.  After 45 years of service she retired from Van Heusen where she worked in quality control.  She was a member of Coffee Springs United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents her husband, Rufus Ray Aycock, as well as two sisters, Pauline Philp and Maxine Lindsay, preceded her in death.

Survivors include one son, Lavaughn Seay (Linda), Coffee Springs; two grandchildren: Misty Seay Tacon and Dax Seay (Chasity); four great-grandchildren: Sierra, Daxley, and Danica Seay, Cailyn Tacon, all of Huntsville; one brother, Julian Lindsay, Hartford; several nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends.
