Alegra Minnie Cole

Alegra Minnie Cole, a resident of Midland City, died late Monday night, November 12, 2012, in the Ozark Health & Rehabilitation Center. She was 90.

            Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. (EST), Thursday, November 15, 2012, in the Crown Hill Cemetery, New Washington, Indiana. Holman-Headland Mortuary is in charge of local arrangements.

            In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gentiva Hospice, P.O. Drawer 2127, Dothan, AL 36302.

            Mrs. Cole was born in Decatur, Georgia and was reared in Houston County, Alabama. She lived in Sellersburg, Indiana most of her adult lifetime before moving to Midland City in 2009. Mrs. Cole was retired from the Internal Revenue Service in Louisville, Kentucky as a legal secretary. She was preceded in death by her father, Lewie Frank Enfinger, her mother, Murry Spann Enfinger, her grandparents who adopted and raised her, William and Adeline Harrison Spann, her husband, Robert Milton Cole, a daughter, Terri McCoy and two sisters, Mary Leola Hardy and Annie Lashley.

            Surviving relatives include two granddaughters, Sabrina and Elizabeth Ann; several great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews including a special niece, Ann McKnight and husband, Albert, Midland City.
