COLLEGE STATION, Texas - The Troy men's basketball team (1-0) is set to take on Texas A&M (1-0) on Monday night at Reed Arena on the campus of Texas A&M as part of the 2012 CBE Hall of Fame Classic. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m., and can be followed online on the Trojan IMG Sports Network. The game will also be available on selected Fox Sports channels, check with your local cable provider for more information.
Troy took down Mississippi State on Friday night at the opening of the brand new Trojan Arena, 56-53, in front of 5,120 fans. Emil Jones drained the game winner with 1.6 second remaining to break a 53-53 tie. Jones would finish with 10 points and a team-high eight rebounds. Tevin Calhoun scored 12 points in his Trojans debut, while Hunter Williams scored 10.
Texas A&M defeated Louisiana Tech on Friday night, 71-59, also part of the CBE Hall of Fame Classic. Elston Turner led the Aggies with 15 points, while Fabyon Harris scored 14 points and added four assists.
The Trojans have never faced the Aggies.
