Dothan Police arrested four people in connection with a burglary ring in south Dothan.

Police say 18-year-old Paul Spahlinger, 21-year-old David Taylor, and two juveniles were behind the crime spree that took place on November 7th.

In an interview on Friday Sergeant Rachel David said at least ten homes and cars were broken into in one day.

""Criminals who are working together to commit a large amount of crimes in such a short time period are very detrimental to the citizens of Dothan. This is something that could have been repeated and certainly very distressful for the victims," said David.

The burglaries happened in several neighborhoods on the south side including Stadium drive, South Edgewood Drive, Lakeland Drive, and Martin Street.

"There was a massive amount of areas targeted, but they were all within the same neighborhood so there was not a specific plan in place on what homes to hit, explained David.

Police say electronics, alcohol, and a lawnmower were just some of the items the suspects stole and some of the items have been returned to the owners.

"We know that our citizens work hard for their property. They work hard for the things they have and when we can rightfully return that to the owners that's always good for us," continued David

Police say Spahlinger, Taylor, and the two juveniles are facing seven counts of Unlawful Breaking and Entering a Vehicle, two counts of Third Degree Burglary and one count of Second Degree Burglary.
