Black Friday: Deals and Discounts Come Early

The biggest shopping day of the year is only two weeks away and customers like Clarissia Bighems of Dothan already have a shopping strategy. 

Bighems said, "I look forward to Black Friday because everybody is out doing their shopping, and you can get great deals on this particular that's bout the only day you can get really good deals."

Retailers like K-Mart are already stocked with the latest electronics and what promise to be this year's hottest gifts. KMart Manager Julia Anglin said they start early.

"We can't wait to the last minute because whatever is in that ad paper that's what customers come looking for. We have great deals and we have to make sure whatever is in that ad paper we have that merchandise," explained Anglin.

Shoppers can get their hands on the season's must haves sooner than they have before.KMart and Wal-Mart are kicking off "Black Friday" deals on Thanksgiving Day. It's the earliest the retailers have ever jump-started its holiday sales.

The deals kick into high gear at 8 o'clock Thanksgiving night.
