High School Quarterback Removed from Playoff Game After Cam Newton Celebration

A high school quarterback from North Carolina was ejected from a playoff game after performing Cam Newton's famous Superman celebration.

Following a touchdown run West Mecklenburg quarterback, Jalan McClendon, pretended to rip open his jersey just like Carolina Panthers' Quarterback, Cam Newton.

McClendon's head coach said he did not feel like his quarterback was taunting anyone and that the celebration was not meant to be disrespectful.

Cam Newton commented on situation saying he felt bad McClendon getting kicked out of the game.
