Mr. David Gregory Burgess of Gordon , passed away Sunday, November 4, 2012, at his residence. He was 52.
Funeral services will be held at 10 A.M. Wednesday, November 7, 2012, at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Morris Bates officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.
The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 P.M. Tuesday, November 6, 2012. Flowers will be accepted. At other times, the family will be gathered at the home of Brad Burgess, 410 Kentworth Dr. Dothan.
Mr. Burgess is preceded in death by his father, Lynn Burgess.
Survivors include his mother, Evelyn Burgess of Dothan, wife, Debbie Burgess of Gordon; daughters, Courtney Burgess of Gordon; Patricia Fortner and her husband, Adam of Blakeley, GA; Amber Burgess of Panama City, FL; brothers, Joe Burgess of Dothan; Tony Burgess and his wife, Jeri of Dothan; Brad Burgess and his wife, Penny of Dothan; grandchildren, John David Fortner, Victoria Fortner, Jalyen Wilson, and several nieces and nephews.
