Debbie Yarbrough

Debbie Yarbrough, 52, of Dothan went to be with her Lord November 1, 2012 at University Alabama Hospital in Birmingham.

Funeral services will be held 2 pm Sunday in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tommy White officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Enon Cemetery with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 12 noon until service time.

Debbie was born July 12, 1960 in Donalsonville, Georgia. She lived the early years of her life in Campbellton, Florida and was a 1978 graduate of Cottonwood High School. Debbie resided in the Mt. Enon Community for several years prior to moving to Dothan in 2000. She was a past member of Mt. Enon Baptist Church and a member of Pathway Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School.

Survivors include her husband of 32 years, John Wallace Yarbrough, Dothan; her children, Robert Cole, Dothan, Stacie (Kip) Snell, Slocomb, Wanda (Brett) Peebles, Midland City; her grandchildren, Tyler Cole, Kristin (Brandon) Martin, Kaleb Snell and Kyle Snell; her great-grandchildren, Marleigh Martin, Anthony Martin and Aiyana Martin; her mother, Mary Allen, Campbellton, FL; her brothers, Edwin Allen, Roger Allen and Jerome Allen all of Campbellton, FL and Wayne Allen, Cottonwood, AL; several nieces and nephews.
