Dorothy (Dot) Parrish Woodham

Dorothy (Dot) Parrish Woodham, a resident of Dothan, died early Friday morning, November 2, 2012, in a Dothan hospital. She was 81.
Funeral services will be held 1:30 P.M. Sunday, November 4, 2012, in the Holman-Headland Mortuary Chapel with Pastor James A. Rich officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends 12:30 until 1:30 P.M. Sunday at the mortuary in Headland.
Mrs. Woodham was born and reared in Dothan and lived in Kinsey before returning to Dothan several years ago. She was formerly employed by Ansell, Inc. and Flowers Hospital. Mrs. Woodham was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Lee Parrish and Lillian Donn Parrish, her husbands, Robert S. Lewis and Otis Woodham, and a brother, R.L. Parrish.
Surviving relatives include three sons, Don Parrish (Pamela), Cowarts; Dewayne Lewis (Geraldine), Dothan; and Tim Lewis (Wanda),Webb; two sisters, Lela Jackson (Sonny), Dothan; Ann Holdsworth; two brothers, Harvey (Shorty) Parrish (Mello Jo), Taylor, AL; Rollie (Boot) Parrish (Ruth), Taylor, AL; three grandchildren, Traci Jackson (Lance), Kim Baxley, Jennifer Temples (Jason); five great-grandchildren, Callen, Kyle, Rachael, Kaylee and Jaidyn.
Serving as pallbearers will be employees of the Dothan Fire Department and Pilcher's Ambulance Service.
