Reba Merle Grimes

Mrs. Reba Merle Grimes of Samson, Alabama passed away Thursday, November 1, 2012.  She was 81.

            Services will be Sunday, November 4, 2012, at 3:00 pm in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Enterprise.  Rev. Danny Bradshaw and Rev. Jimmy Eddins will officiate.  Burial will follow in the Meadowlawn Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at Sorrells on Sunday from 2:00 until 3:00 pm.

            Mrs. Grimes was born November 30, 1930, to the late Arthur Lee and Ila Davis Henderson.  She was a member of Holloway Tabernacle Assembly of God Church.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Rev. Joe B. Grimes.

            Survivors include 2 daughters: Joyce Bradshaw (Rev. Danny), Kinston, AL, Jeanne Day (Hamp), Samson, AL; 1 son, Ken Grimes (Sheila), Slocomb, AL; 2 brothers: Leonard Macy Henderson (Margie), Dothan, AL, Edward Earl Henderson, Andalusia, AL; 6 grandchildren: Beverly Hudson (Hunter), Danielle Marsh (Paul), D'Andra Tingey (Eli), Carolyn Grimes, Kendall Grimes, Andy Day; 2 great-grandchildren: Hillary Hudson and Hayden Hudson; and several nieces and nephews.
