Beef 'O' Brady's Forms Charitable Partnership with American Red Cross to Benefit Hurricane Sandy Victims

Family Sports Pub Franchise Hopes to Raise $10,000 in Donations

TAMPA, FL - As the Northeast begins to recover from the devastating aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, Beef 'O' Brady's franchise partners are rallying to help those in need. On Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012, participating Beef 'O' Brady's restaurants will donate an average of 10 percent of the day's earnings to the American Red Cross to support Hurricane Sandy relief efforts. The goal is to raise approximately $10,000.

"Our thoughts and prayers go out to all those impacted by Hurricane Sandy," said Chris Elliott, CEO of Beef 'O' Brady's. "We've fielded dozens of calls over the past few days from franchisees and employees asking how they could help support those impacted most from the storms, and we are proud to partner with a cause that plays such a critical role in assisting the recovery process."

Tampa-based Beef 'O' Brady's, a national chain of family sports pubs and restaurants best known for its award-winning Buffalo-style chicken wings, will have roughly 60 of its restaurants participating in the promotion.

Despite boasting a new beneficiary, the brand is no stranger to philanthropic efforts.  On a local level, each Beef 'O' Brady's location makes a significant effort to become completely entrenched within its community through volunteer efforts, outreach and involvement. In June 2012, Beef 'O' Brady's named the Wounded Warrior Project as its primary beneficiary and kicked off the partnership with a $25,000 donation.
