National Peanut Festival Fully Endows WCC Scholarship Fund

NATIONAL PEANUT FESTIVAL FULLY ENDOWS WCC SCHOLARSHIP FUND
 
Dothan, Ala.-- The National Peanut Festival (NPF) Board has fully endowed the National Peanut Festival Scholarship with a check for $16,867.31. The scholarship was originally established by the NPF Board members in 1993 and has been awarded each semester through the Wallace Community College Foundation.
 
Recipients of this scholarship must hold a GPA of 2.5 or higher and demonstrate financial need. One scholarship of up to $750 is presented per semester to a qualifying student. Applications are accepted via the College's website (www.wallace.edu) or by visiting the financial aid office.
 
The partnership between the National Peanut Festival and Wallace Community College enables qualified WCC students to pursue their educational goals.
