The National Peanut Festival begins Friday. Here's some good safety advice.
Keep all belongings locked in the trunk of your car and only carry the cash you're planning to spend.
Parents should stop by the safety booths at the front gate for an arm band for children.
Those arm bands identify children and give a number for police to call if the child gets lost.
"We do have multiple cameras that have been added to the property," said Jason Rudd, the safety director of the festival. "We will have well over 100 cameras. You can rest assured that you will be filmed and watched after."
Police and deputies will be patrolling the fair grounds at all times.
