Joseph William Drescher

Joseph William Drescher, a resident of the Tumbleton Community of Henry County, died early Wednesday morning, October 31, 2012, at his home. He was 47.
No funeral or memorial services are planned at this time. Holman-Headland Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Drescher was a native of Louisville, Kentucky, and was reared in Clearwater, Florida, son of the late Donald Freddy Drescher and Vivian Fay Thompson Drescher. He lived in the Tumbleton Community all his adult lifetime. Mr. Drescher was formerly employed as a carpenter in residential construction. He was preceded in death by his son, Joseph William Drescher, II.
Surviving relatives include a step-daughter, Amanda Howard, and a step-son, Donnie Howard; a sister, Sally Jean Drescher, Tumbleton Community; a brother Gregory D. Drescher, Dothan; three nieces, Sara Drescher, Vivian Drescher, Lisa Drescher and two nephews, Christopher Prather, and Gregory Drescher.
