Myra Jean Ford of Enterprise, AL passed away Monday, October 29, 2012 at her home. She was 82.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm Thursday, November 1, 2012 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Enterprise with her son, Tim Ford, providing the eulogy. Burial will follow in the Meadowlawn Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday beginning at 11:30 am continuing until service time.
Mrs. Ford was born July 22, 1930 in Houston County, Alabama to the late Richard Hobson and Alma Gilley Mims. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Ford Mims and a sister Mellaree Torino.
Survivors include her husband, Donald M. Ford, Enterprise, AL; 2 daughters: Jan McDonald (Mike), Port St. Joe, FL, Tammy Vickers (Doug), Enterprise, AL; 3 sons: Terry Arrington (Mary), Nashville, TN, Al Arrington, Enterprise, AL, Tim Ford (Michelle), Naples, FL; 1 sister, Grace Reagan (Joe), Hartford, AL; 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
