Chavonna Scott Was Arrested for Second Degree Theft of Property

On October 27, 2012 the Dothan Police Department responded to a theft at Lowe's (2671 Ross Clark Circle). Upon arrival, police learned Chavonna Scott was caught attempting to steal items from Lowe's by security officers who stated they observed Scott placing items in her purse while walking around the store. Scott then attempted to leave the store with the merchandise still in her purse but was detained. Scott was placed under arrest and charged with theft.

Chavonna Scott, black female, 22 years of age, of Pinkard, Alabama was arrested and charged with Second Degree Theft of Property with a bond being established later today. All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
