Myrtle G. Miller

Myrtle G. Miller, a resident of Dothan, went home to her Lord and Savior Thursday, October 25, 2012. She was 87.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday, October 27, 2012 at Byrd Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry McAdams officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Hill Cemetery with Byrd Funeral Home on West Main Street directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to service time on Saturday.
Mrs. Miller was born February 14, 1925 in Brewton, AL. After graduating from high school and beauty school she moved to Dothan. She excelled as a stylist, cosmetologist, and business woman. Mrs. Miller was a charter member of Covenant United Methodist Church (1979) and worshipped there for 32 years. She was active at the Taylor Senior Center for many years especially in their painting classes.
Survivors include her husband, Roger L. Miller of Dothan; step-daughter, Barbara Weisman of Virginia; nieces, Judy Simms (Keith) of Brewton, Joyce Miller (Quinn) of Flomaton, and Becky Bethea (Kenneth) of Brewton; nephew, Ralph Graves (Linda) of Titusville, FL; niece-in-law, Irene Graves of Flomaton; and numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews.
